The Saint's boy's soccer team earned their first Catholic League victory of the season on Monday at Cardinal Dougherty. Their overall record improved to 2-3. Here's the scoop courtesy of Philly.com Rally Sports section:

Austin West scored twice and Joseph Hatton notched the game-winning goal for Neumann-Goretti in a 4-2 win over host Cardinal Dougherty.

Hatton’s goal came five minutes into the second half and gave the Saints a 3-1 lead. Will Huff also scored for Neumann-Goretti. Jean Ange Sahou and Carey Thomas scored for the Cardinals who peppered Saints’ goalie John Cujdik with 20 shots.

Way to go Saints!!! Next up, Lansdale Catholic for the home opener on Wednesday - WEATHER PERMITTING since rain is in the forecast. If the game is rained out, this will be the second rainout of the young season for the Saints ( previously rained out home opener against Kennedy-Kenrick).
