Young Men Saints struggle in early games

Posted Saturday, September 18, 2010 by GH3
As the mens Saints soccer season has many first year soccer players and arguably the youngest team in the Philadelphia Catholic League, the first three regular season games have ended in defeat. Team chemistry is a work in progress, The goalkeeping has been solid with teams firing many scoring chances at our net. Our offense has come alive as Joseph Hatton scored his second goal of the season and Billy Garton tallied his first in a 3-2 tough loss to West Catholic. The first game against Archbishop Ryan the Saints were shutout by a fine defensive performance and offensive barrage, The away game at Conwell Egan was similar with a few more scoring chances.
